Good Aim

Shot in the heart. I once saw someone photoshop this beast out in the ocean and I had a laugh. Does anyone know where I saw that? Love it or hate it, I see it every day. Sometimes I like photographs that remove all the distraction, sometimes I like busy shots. This icon has been shot very many times, so I thought I should throw my hat in the ring and try something a little different. I like this one on white.

I know I’ve said this before but this is the only photo of that piece that I enjoy. I finally figured out why. Your photo makes this thing work in a way that the actual art does not. It creates a sentiment and the mood that the artist was trying to achieve but you’ve captured it here perfectly.
This bow and arrow symbolizes a dream, and a dream city. You’ve improved on the reality of it.

Thanks Julie. A photograph is a filter of the way we want to see things, no matter how cleanly the shot is taken. I’m glad you share my vision of this piece.

if I didn’t dislike the arrow so much, I might be able to enjoy this shot
but, the arrow = wtf is that thing?
