CALIBER

“EAT” – by Shims

I spent some time last night looking through the Caliber Flickr Pool. There’s quite a bit of great images in there. One of my goals for 2010 is to become more active in that group.

This image was chosen for several reasons. The symmetry is spot on, top-heavy in a good way. The table on the bottom draws in your eye and you see the fellows behind the counter in the open kitchen — each doing their own thing, unaware that Shims was recording this moment.

This is one of those images that needs to be seen really, really big. My 19″ monitor is just not doing it justice, even when viewed large.
