Thanks to everyone that came along on our SoMa photowalk today. It was great to meet so many Bay Area photographers! Extra thanks to SoMa Arts Cultural Center for hosting the event and Goat Hill Pizza for providing pizza for the attendees afterward.
If you came along on the walk and uploaded your photos to Flickr, pls tag them with calibersfpw071810. We’ll get a post up with some of your best photos in the next day or two. Feel free to leave links to your blog or Flickr stream in the comments below and we’ll make sure to include those as well.
(Also, SOMArts has their own flickr group and they’d love for you to join and add some of your photos to their pool as well, and tag appropriate photos with SOMArts. Thank you!)

So I was in the car today with my BF and telling him that we we’re due for another photowalk and thought that SOMA would be a perfect area to shoot. Not more than 10 seconds later, we’re driving down Mission Street and I see none other than Frank Chu (and his Sign), and ALL the amazing photographers with their fab DSLR’s on the street. I’ve been so busy with work, I haven’t had a chance to check the website and I’m so upset that I missed photowalk! I’m sorry I wasn’t there, I miss you all. Can we do another photowalk soon. The Haight would be a great place to shoot too. BTW Troy – Great photo of our trusty leader Frank.

A real blast, and thanks to Troy, Travis, Julie, and Stuart for the arrangements. It was a great venue. And such a well behaved mob of photogs — how many were there? 80+?
