Larry Flynt's Stripper Mobile, San Francisco

As seen on Market Street in downtown San Francisco.  And they say talking on the phone or texting while driving is distracting?

Never No More

Never No More, San Francisco

Shot with a 50+ year old Yashica-D TLR, Fuji Neopan 400 ISO 120 film, processed at a hole-in-the-wall lab in the backstreets of San Francisco’s Chinatown.  Feeling the light leak on the far left side of the frame (at least I think that’s what it is).

Night of the Living Dead

You may recall a photo I posted a couple months back featuring Brandon, an individual I met on Powell Street who told me an epic story about a collision he had with a bus while riding his bicycle drunk on Market and Fourth streets.  Brandon was quick to admit the accident was his fault, then proceeded to let me snap a couple pics of his battle wounds.  Click HERE to see my original photo and commentary.

My post was then followed by an encounter that Stuart and Troy had with Brandon on Market Street a couple of weeks later.  However, instead of showing off his battle wounds from his bus collision (which, by the way, were beginning to heal), Brandon instead decided to strip down buck-naked in the middle of Market Street and pose for a couple of photos, which you’ll find HERE.

I stumbled upon the above photo the other night while organizing some files on my hard drive.  I actually like this photo a little more than the one I originally posted.  It looks like something right out of “Night of the Living Dead.”

I haven’t seen Brandon since my initial encounter, but plan to have some prints made to give to him if/when I run into him again on the street.

Ish-3-4

Snapped last Saturday at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, CA. Special thanks to my friend Ish for dressing the part for the shoot. It was pretty damn hot to be wearing a tweed jacket, wool cap and trousers.  I snapped this with my DSLR and processed using LR3 and CS3, but probably could have gotten close to the same effects had I simply shot it with my Yashica-D TLR. I had both cameras on me at the time, so I’m not sure why I didn’t at least fire off a couple shots with the TLR.  Coulda, woulda, shoulda.
