Bareburger organic burger chain moves to the Lower East Side

Bareburger, a popular spot for organic burgers, recently moved from Second Avenue to reopen at 173 Orchard St. (between E. Houston and Stanton streets) on the Lower East Side. The new outpost joins more than two dozen locations in the tri-state region for the Astoria-based chain.

With a long list of small partners providing its organic and natural foods, Bareburger allows diners to customize their burgers, from protein and buns to toppings. Options like grass-fed beef, bison, and the Meatless Impossible Burger can go with toppings like eggs, avocado, and bacon.

Side dishes include fries, napa coleslaw, and sweet potato fries, and guests can complement the meal with a milkshake made with Blue Marble Creamery ice cream.

It’s still early days for the new burger joint – he only has one review on Yelp so far.

Yelper Erica B. got excited about the new spot on May 18th: “Love love love this place. The staff are absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is super cool, and most importantly – the food is the bomb.”
