After the initial collaboration between masquespacio and the hamburger chain “bun” for its first store in milan, the design studio is now showcasing another dynamic restaurant interior in turin, italy. the project focuses on the brand identity already formed, using three bright colors – green, blue and pink – to distribute the different zones, while generating a fun swim Bowl-as a space where diners can enjoy their meal while having the impression of being underwater.

Taking advantage of three pre-existing windows that provide natural light and generous views, the studio applied three different colors to organize the environment. “The idea of playing with a color for each window creates a visual effect of the exterior which makes the viewer of the exterior move from one visual world to another, traveling through different experiences in the same space” , says ana hernández, creative director of masquespacio.
the color green which is widely used in the interior of Milan and serves as a trademark for the identity of the “bun”, was chosen to cover the main bar where customers can place their order. meanwhile, the colors pink and blue guide diners to two completely different seating areas. in the pink zone, the guests gather around a large common table, where a tribune allows them to sit on different levels. on the other hand, the blue zone adopts a pool-like aesthetic, adding a fun touch to the interior.
in addition, the project includes a series of elements that are already established as essential elements of the brand identity in the Milanese restaurant. thus, the interior of Turin also incorporates arches, alongside materials such as ceramic and terrazzo. after finalizing this project, masquespacio intends to work on more ‘bun’ stores in milan, and to integrate this brand identity into new unique spaces.
